Bitumen are substantially solid at ambient temperature. For Road construction they must be applied in liquid form. Following method are used to achieve the desired results:

By heating the bitumen to certain temperature (hot bitumen application)

By adding volatile solvent in the bitumen to reduce its viscosity (cut back application)

By using Bitushield 460 Asphalt Emulsion, which does not require heating or adding volatile solvent and is therefore cheaper than earlier two methods. 

Bitumex is a Water based bituminous water proofing compound incorporating elastomers and reinforcing agents. It is formulated to a brushable consistency, but with sufficient body to provide a high build water proofing membrane. 

Bitushield is user friendly and non-hazardous black in color water based bitumen. Although black in color it will not stain grout or tiles and it will not re-emulsify after fully curing. Bitushield 200 is designed asa highly ecomonical general purpose water proofing membrane. 

BituShell Black is a high performance Coating used for Water proofing Metal, Wood and Concrete where a black finish is acceptable. It is particularly used in retaining walls, subways, lining of sewage tanks against moisture and gases. it is unaffected by the alkalinity of new concrete or sulphates in soil waters. It is also used on underground pipelines.
